We are actively looking for a marketing assistant to assist the marketing team in daily marketing activities. With effective project management skills. Sound understanding of marketing principles. Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.  

JOB DUTIES

  • Assisting the marketing manager and supporting the marketing team with marketing activities.

  • Assisting with the production of marketing materials and literature.

  • Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications

  • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required

  • Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.

  • Research and analyzemarket conditions and opportunities.
  • Map potential customers and competitors for the product.
  • Promote initial follow ups for sales prospects of the product.
  • Coordinate with the marketing,sales, technical and administrative departments.
  • Good handling and preparation of sales status reports in MS-Office Word, Excel etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Writing articles and promotional material for the company.

  • Preparing interesting written copy for the website.

  • Uploading marketing material to online libraries, internet groups and social media sites.

  • Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases.

  • Managing events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials.

  • Maintain hard copiesand electronic filing systems.
  • Conduct and coordinate marketing employee meetings and conferences.
  • Develop procedures for up gradation , research and analysis, target advertisingetc.
  • Develop pricing structure and the various payment options.
  • Develop procedures for E-Marketing and Internet advertising and all other forms of sales and marketing.

Skills

  • Experience or interest in Media, internet, publishing, sales and marketing.
  • Ability to read,Analyze professional journals, periodicals and knowledge of govt. regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's or Master's in marketing, administration, business and other fields.

1-2 years of experience in the sales and marketing field.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

The Marketing Manager position is a valued team member in the marketing department. We require you to have basic marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional techniques, visual merchandising and consumer market research abilities. After successful completion of each department, an individual would be considered a team lead in the marketing department. 

Marketing Manager reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and to Zingpr.

Job Duties

  • Assisting in the daily growth and development of assigned campaigns
  • Assisting with efforts of customer acquisition and retention
  • Expertly managing the needs of external customers
  • Developing strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Driving sales through promotional campaigns
  • Build brand recognition through local events, conferences, expo's and experiential marketing.
  • Strategize, execute and manage with the Business Team
  • Interact and communicate with customers
  • Aid marketing and advertising associates and senior staff with specific projects related to each client.
  •  Impacts sales results by developing, supporting and executing field marketing and segment activities.

Responsibilities 

  - Executes Marketing campaigns and Plans Events depending on expertise.

- Works with appropriate clients to support campaigns.

- Works with various corporate/field marketers to determine appropriate customized programs and strategies for various market segments.

 - Provides coordination and project management to ensure event success.

- Once the management capacity is reached, may also attend these events as required.

- Monitors use of existing sales tools.

 - Provides input on requirements for additional tools.

- Publicizes event and works with ZingPr to raise awareness and drive high levels of attendance and participation by targeted audience.

- Advises on new ideas to generate revenue for various clientel

  • Be the expert on the customer and the competition; Manage testing, user research, and competitor analysis -- generate insights to drive new marketing idea.

Skills

  • Fluent in digital marketing channels including email, mobile (in-app/product, push notifications), digital advertising, social, landing pages, etc. Experience in offline channels is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful product marketing launches  
  • You’re a hybrid marketer: you understand brand positioning, integrated marketing, user research, new product development, and measurement/optimization.

EDUCATION & Qualifications 

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or equivalent from top university (MBA strongly preferred)  
  • 3+ years digital marketing experience  
  • Consumer technology marketing experience is required.
